Ventese

The ventese are humans living in the rich lands of Ventuça, surrounding the Golden Sea, an inner sea on Tartus. The ventese are a colourful people with a knack for trading and cultural works. From their republic they trade with all neighbours, except the adandar, which they consider dangerous and brutish due to the frequent raids that the adandar exact upon the republic's northern reaches. The ventese spawned a rich pirate culture west of their republic that now haunts much of Tartus' western coasts.
