Civil War in the Kingdom of Regia

Civil war breaks out in the Kingdom of Regia.

Tension finally breaks after the part of the populace demand King Kohaan the Insane to step down after unceremoniously executing over 60 political rivals during a feast. Unsurprisingly the King declines and declares war on everyone who opposes him to which his opponents gladly react.   During the next 7 years a bloody war wages across the lands of Regia, finally culminating in the execution of the King and his family by clergy of the formally repressed Church of the Origin. Immediately after destroying the entire royal dynasty, the Church of the Origin declare Regia a new theocratic state ruled by the church and its hierarch. This unchains another 15 years of internal strife, war and bloodshed.
