Economy has been harsh, with poverty and crime rising higher than ever seen in the past years. Generating wealth is difficult and adventuring, piracy and trading are amongst the best ways to make a couple of Talons quick and... well, not so easy.

In this part of the world some coinage go beyond the generic Gold, Silver and Copper piece denomination.
Most of the coastal and island communities trade in what is called Talons and Nails, this is the denomination for Silver and Copper pieces respectively. Gold is such a rare occurrence in those communities that a denomination never came up.

Talons are silvery round discs with a Hawk talon shape emblazoned on one face of the coin.
Nails are bits of copper with a jagged conical shape that can look like a nail, hence its name.

However the City-State of Stormport developed their own coinage, they use the Doubloons, nicknamed Dobs by traders and the populace, which comes is a variety of gold, silver and copper 'dobs'.
Within the walls of the City-State some merchants may not accept payment in other currencies than Doubloons or ask for an extra fee depending on the quantity of Talons or Nails traded.
