Atlas's animosity toward Blair Daitan, leader of the criminal organization Kyūketsu Kōmori, dates back to their encounters during their respective tenures as a Knight of Blood and admiral. Their rivalry escalated to violence, resulting in Atlas losing an eye, a consequence of Blair's vicious attack prompted by Atlas's mistreatment of Saturn.
