The Astral Plane, like The In Between Place, is a purely metaphysical place and therefore does not have physics or a fixed perception of time. The Astral Plane is a very dangerous plane for almost anyone who isn’t of the Astral Plane as it is very easy to get lost within it if you do not have a guide. There have been many, many cases of creatures venturing into the Astral Plane unprepared and never returning. The Astral Plane has many realms that exist within it such as the shockingly safe dream realm and the far more dangerous mirror world.
