Gara X'ulthas and the Knights of Ainntar

The Blades of Ainntar, lead by the demon Gara X'ulthas were an order of warriors, who orchestrated and attempted to bring back and give Ainntar a new body.   It's members were brought in from races in and out of Ordu. They were known to be a fearsome force to face against. Information about them is sparse and most of them have been gathered through captured cultists and most importantly; The Zaaney Scholar-Sorcerer Krivkax. Who was part of the group responsible of putting an end to their plans.

History

It is unknown when the order was formed, but they were active at least most of the year 1574.   The known "Knights" were as follow:   Chanra, The Blade of Hridi   A Hridi insectoid warrior and the heir-apparent for Rhandrax. Like all Hridi's her limbs were thin, yet incredibly strong. Her chitinous skin was red-purple and on which pieces of purple armor have been grown. On her head her feeler-like appendages were pulled back with a crown and a long red veil fell over her back. She was a “battle-dancer” who wielded a two-handed sword, which during the battle was divided into two sabers. After a fearsome battle, she was killed by the Bal'arian ex-soldier Darius Magnus.   Gronnak of the Deep   A sorcerer of an unknown maggot-like species. According to Krivkax, he had a large skull of an unknown creature as a head, with bloody pieces of meat tied into the skull, as if attempting to mimic muscles. He wore a cloak made of thick bones and some kind of dark purple fleshy material. Inside cloak was the ever-trembling thick maggot body. Into this body, straight prickly sticks were attached, acting like a parody of limbs. Krivkax described how he was hovering in the air and projecting his voice directly into people's mind. He was first defeated in Or-Chak-Tzan'ah (Orshannon), the Hridi staging-world where the party had traveled. Though he managed to escape. His soul was later summoned by Ainntar herself to fight on her behalf, but his ultimate fate is unknown.   Oridram, The Red Child   A young Zaaney, who was seemingly responsible for the religious civil-war between the different Zaaney tribes. Reasons for this is yet unknown. He had bright red scales and was a remarkably well trained monk. The party face him in Orshannon. During battle it was revealed that a parasite-demon had taken hold of him and it tore him to pieces when it burst out of him. Bringing an end to Oridram. Though part of his soul stayed with the demon. The demon itself was defeated by Krivkax and it slid back into nothingness.   Rhandrax, The Hridi-Proctor Queen   The ruler of Orshannonian Hridi and head of the Hridi invasion on Ordu. She was also the mother of Chanra and she looked much like her, just without the extra chitin-plates. She was said to be the closest ally to Gara and to Ainntar herself. And it was she who created the portal beast that managed to tear a way for Hridi to access Ordu. Rhandrax revealed herself to the party on Orshannon, though the didn't meet again until later. It was she who corrupted the Geedasian Matriarchs and then led the invasion force to Saah. During the invasion, she took Ainntar's soul inside her, though this almost destroyed her body. She was finally destroyed by the party, with the final blow being dealt by the T'sunia war monk Volkov.   Djult, The Imperishable   A monstrous, three-armed, black creature filled with large filth dripping pustules. It's two human-like heads were distorted by pain, with their eyes being torn from both. On the back of his thick, tumor-filled body, were a pair of withered skeletal wings, with black blood dripping from their morbid tissue. He was said to be the bastard child of Ainntar herself, but no-one knew for sure. After a long battle, he was finally slain by Darius, with his Hridian bloodblade taken from Chanra.   Erianor the Accursed   A giant clad in a ornate armor, which may have once been beautiful, but was now rusty and burned. Underneath the armor, the party saw a dark, almost charred-looking body. He wore a horn-shaped crown over his helmet, which looked almost identical to the Eleann Emperor's crown. It was confirmed by El'Anar that this was her father. The long lost Emperor of the ancient Azyrium. He was was defeated during the battle of Saah. By trickery from the party's part. Dropping him from a building and pouring flammable liquid on him. Later his spirit was summoned by Ainntar to help her in battle at surface of the moon, where his soul was finally put to rest by the combined efforts from Shaana's spells and El'Anar's fists.   Gara X'ulthas   Gara himself was a fearsome creature. His slightly slouched form was covered in black smoke. His face was ever-changing, going from a nightmarish visages to another and only when he spoke, one could see his true reptilian features. He wielded a mighty staff, capable of giving horrifying curses en masse.   It was he, who put a start on the campaign to bring back Ainntar. Creating chaos and bloodshed wherever he could. It was he who destroyed Observatory 3 in Riek, when looking for additional Cubes of Tcarathar. Krivkax and his fellow companion met him multiple times during their travels. He was later confirmed to had seen overseeing the invasion of Saah. Though he disappeared near the end of the battle. He has not been seen since.   It is speculated that he might be one of the legendary shards of Vaniatar. Given to Tcarathar to guard the gates of Dur’Jhal. How he became servant of Ainntar in unknown.
