Ravaner (Ravaanir)
Ancient and mysterious. Often seen as little more than a roadblock between Riek and the Capital. This swampy, humid province and it's people is known for their hardy nature and the ability to turn nothing into treasure. And thanks to it, towns and cities like Hildar's Hope, Kratovarian and the province capital Ravanandrad are known to be destinations for any self-respecting merchant.
And thanks to it's long legacy, it's misty swamps and forests are full of long forgotten ruins left by previous civilizations. It's thought that Ravaner is the location of the Pre-Greater Dalis civilization whose fall is a mystery to this day.
Ravaner is also a province where truly ancient power dwell and where people are at war with nature itself. Especially in the area called "Ravalands" to the east, with it's huge, near impassable forests where the illusive Yanas, or the "Tree-kin" and their follower live and wage a war against anyone who would harm their forests and nature.

It's population is roughly split between Humans and Dalis. Though Dalis communities tend to favor the larger coastal cities.
Ravaner also has small minorities of Qur and suprisingly the Zaaney, who have integrated well into it's climate and population.
