Camptalk

A quasi-professional tongue developed over hundreds of years by mercenaries from all over Aneloria. It is an argot language of military terms, many of them Mantherian/Aendorian in origin, slang and other words adopted over the years. This bastard dialect is spoken in sellsword bands and army camps. It is limited to straightforward speaking and commands. But there is a healthy amount of profanity and insults contained within it…

Writing System

CAMPTALK has no alphabet per se. Even casual speakers can recognize commonly-utilized situational symbols used on military maps and order-banners. But if one wanted, they could use a phonetic alphabet to write in CAMPTALK.
