20|Summer|117-- The Companions entered the Sallow Hills through a large flatland bowl between hill lines when they were attacked by these pig-sized insects flying out of a fog bank. One was slain and the other vanished. The Companions deduced that the creatures buried themselves in vertical holes only to emerge hungry. One look at the flatland surrounding them convinced the Companions to head into the hills.
