Endo-Gotas

TW: Entomophobia, Arachniphobia

An Endo-Gotas is a sub-faction of an Entomancer, built to use insects and arachnids to assassinate threats. From killing corrupt politicians to slaying abusive nobles, the Endo-Gotas use their talents to change how politics are run. They are often hired by people looking to advance further in their careers.
I've always wanted to cause chaos and kill a few bastards. This would allow me to utilize my strengths and combine them with something dirty.

Career

Qualifications

An Endo-Gotas must have exceptional skills in arcana, stealth, acrobatics, and strength to take the mantle of being an assassin. Besides that, they must not be afraid of getting bloody or covered in grime. Assassination is a nasty business after all.

Payment & Reimbursement

Endo-Gotas are paid well. Each planet or solar system has a unique type of currency, but the most common type is soul credits. The type of assassination depends on what payment amount can be reached.
Status Soul Credit Payment
Politician 10,000+ SC
Noble 100,000+ SC
Royal 1,000,000+ SC
Rebel 1,000,000+ SC

Perception

Purpose

All Endo-Gotas are assassins working for various governments or militias depending on the planet or country. Whether good with poisons or better with a blade, an Endo-Gotas uses their talents to kill their intended target. Rarely will an Endo-Gotas question why they are assassinating their target. In times like these, the Endo-Gotas may abandon their duties, defect from their job, and live life on the run.

Demographics

Not many people think of being an Endo-Gotas as something livable. Assassins live in the shadows, away from people. They kill for a living. What good would that do for a livelihood? As a result, only those with dark pasts and a thirst for blood tend to take up an assassin's life, which is often, not that many people. Approximately, less than one percent of the universe's population are Endo-Gotas.

Operations

Tools

An Endo-Gotas uses a special kind of armor that enhances their insectoid arcana abilities. The chest piece has the face of a spider on it, decorated with red eyes and black webbing. They also have a unique weapon suited to their type of fighting style.
Did you know that you can bring any deadly insect you have built a connection with to the missions? That means Funnel could join me!

Materials

Endo-Gotas always carry a set of arcane potions to revive lost arcana in case of emergencies. They also carry delicate powders for poisons, ranging from deadly nightshade to wolfsbane and even white snakeroot.

Workplace

Each world has different styles of what the average assassin workplace should look like. For some, it is a dilapidated building, but for others, the place seems like your average, run-of-the-mill office headquarters. However, one thing is for certain -- each headquarters contains access to the ConnectLine.

Provided Services

Simply put -- assassinate. They kill whatever target they are required to. Most of the time, it is a politician or a noble. Very rarely will they be tasked with killing the average citizen.

Dangers & Hazards

Endo-Gotas can easily get themselves killed on the job. More often than not, they die from getting caught. A few cases have led to public executions, but most of the time, they are killed by the security of their target. They can also run out of arcana, making it dangerous to run into security and guards. When in battle, an Endo-Gotas must always be able to cast arcane spells. If unable to, they must quickly flee or face getting captured.

In most countries, this profession is considered illegal, and some planets even have death penalties for those who attempt to sign up for it. The places that do accept this profession are countries and planets where crime and death rates are high.   On Inerth, the only way to become an Endo-Gotas is to align with one of the various governments or to join a militia group, often an illegal one.
