Captain Radcliffe
Captain Radcliffe: the name is surely recognised in any port town in Archaria and beyond, not only because of his legendary drinking contests, but because the chances are that him and his crew has destroyed a substantial part of the town's dock in a boat crash. In fact, it's a miracle he is still alive and free after his insane exploits. Perhaps the strangest thing about him, though, is the fact that, whenever he is involved in a nautical disaster, no one ever seems to blame him, or even notice!
Physical Description
Special abilities
The captain's skill range is wide, but some of his most notable abilities include: Crashing boats, always somehow getting out of dangerous situations, always somehow getting into dangerous and strange situations, and always popping up just at the right time.
Specialized Equipment
Captain Radcliffe's weapon of choice is his seemingly indestructible ship, the unfortunate harbormaster. When such a large device will not suffice, he settles for a cutlass and heavy crossbow.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Captain Radcliffe's history is as murky and hard to navigate as the swamps of oblivion. His ship has taken him on many a terrifying voyage, to the seven seas of the material plane and beyond, where he has faced extreme danger and horrifying ordeals at the hands (or tentacles. Or jaws.) of sea monster and sea god alike. Or so he says. His true and complete history is known to but a few unfortunate souls, whose diminutive number do not include Radcliffe himself, or any of the archipelago's player characters. So, if you are Fladnag the Wizard, Iagolin the Fighter/Artificer, Alaw? Aelar? Alaer? the monk, or any other new PCs, read no further. Fear not though, for the truth will be revealed in due course. For me and anyone who isn't a PC, this is his story:
Employment
Captain Radcliffe is currently a self-employed sea captain. He is never short of work, as he is often the only person willing to undertake insane and suicidal missions.

Although almost everyone agrees that there is indeed something very wrong with captain Radcliffe , whether he underwent a traumatic experience on a voyage, or if he just snapped is unknown.
