Malon Reed is Lord High Marshal of the Iron Pillar, third of the ordained primarchs of the Church of the Awakened. He holds the ceremonial Flaming Sword of Triarch. He commands the legions of the church's armed men, as well as its missionaries and charitable agents. Thus he is the face of the church itself for many, who seldom see its inner, more esoteric workings.
