The Colosseum presents you with three starting points, each with its own set of unique challenges and risks. As you weigh your options, you can't help but feel the weight of the consequences that come with each choice.

Will you choose:

• Option 1: You've been captured for a crime (you can choose what crime) and sentenced to serve a life and death fight in the campaign. You have no choice but to fight for your life and hope for a chance at freedom.

• Option 2: You're going in willingly for money, seeking to test your mettle in the colosseum's many battles for the chance at a hefty payout. You are not obligated to participate, but the potential rewards are great.

• Option 3: You're from a noble family in Jocundcrest, and you see honor in entering the colosseum to prove yourself and bring glory to your name. You know the risks, but the opportunity to showcase your skills and make a name for yourself is too great to pass up.

Whichever option you choose, the Colosseum awaits, and only the strongest will emerge victorious. Whether you choose to enter the colosseum as a criminal seeking redemption, a mercenary seeking fortune, or a noble seeking glory, know that the path ahead is a treacherous one. Rules

• All players start with standard equipment and gear appropriate for their chosen class and starting point.

• Magic and spellcasting are allowed, but spell components may be hard to come by in the arena, so players will need to be resourceful.

• Healing items and potions will also be scarce, so players will need to rely on their own abilities and wits to stay alive.

• The arena is a deadly place, and death is a real possibility. Players should be prepared to create new characters if their current ones perish.

• Each player is allowed one reroll of their character's ability scores at the start of the campaign, but the new scores must be used even if they are worse than the original rolls.

• Players must keep track of their own experience and level-ups. Leveling up after each one-shot will make the campaign increasingly challenging and rewarding.

• The GM may introduce surprise elements and twists to keep the gameplay exciting and unpredictable.

• All players must abide by the basic rules of fair play and respect towards each other and the GM. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in expulsion from the campaign. (@Chef, no pun characters)
