26 - Epitaph

Sariel leaned back in her chair, exuding confidence. "No need."
The human woman continued to look puzzled. "You're an adventurer. You adventure. You don't wear armour."
"Well, I wear some armour." The half elf replied with a nod.
The conversation the two had been having in the hours since they'd first met had taken an interesting turn, at least in Emilia's opinion. This Sariel woman was extremely interesting, but had many odd ideas.
"How do you protect yourself?" Emilia enquired.
Sariel smiled. "I just don't get hit. I could fight in chain smallclothes and be just as effective."
She paused for a moment, thinking.
"Maybe I should try that again." She continued.
A picture emerged in Emilia's mind of the half-elf battling foes in such attire. She fought for a few moments, then recieved an arrow to the chest for her trouble.
"That seems... unwise." Emilia replied, hesitantly.
Sariel's confidence didn't waver. "Well, it's my reflexes and mage armor."
Well. That would explain things.
