Anon

Essentially 'avatars' optionally created to inhabit the Aephex as a representation of the user. However, an Anon cannot be traced back to a device or user unless the company Levilux itself takes the time to track an Anon. Anons grant a user "complete and guaranteed" anonymity from other users and hackers alike, as the Aephex nor Levilux have been successfully hacked to date. 

Anons are able to be almost any shape or form the user desires, ranging from a simple humanoid to a hybrid of animalistic. Depending on a user's equipment, their experience using their Anon can range anywhere from simply walking about and using a chat or microphone feature, to being able to use all of their senses including touch and smell, upwards of living within the Aephex itself with no direct physical connection to the world of Freyla.

If a user decides to access the Aephex and create an Anon, whenever they are within the digital realm itself, they must treat their Anon's existence as it was their own. An Anon must still eat, sleep, etc. There is no option to avoid this, and it is unknown why the Anons still require sustenance and the basic maintenance of a living being but is just generally thought of as a 'quirk' of the reality as many shrug it off as a trade-off of sorts. However, some believe it has to do with the ties the technology has to the magic that allows the system to works as it does in the first place, and are just unsure as of how.
