Eladrin
a variety of elves native to the Astral Plane. They traced their roots to the Feywild like other elves but were very different from their terrestrial brethren. The millennia they spent within the Astral Plane imbued them with a spark of divine energy, bestowed upon them by divine powers.
Just like other living beings, astral elves did not age while within the Astral Plane. Their longevity―which often surpassed that of Torillian elves up to thousands of years―granted them unique outlooks on time and existence. This manifested in feelings of depression in some elves or apathy in others. Yet some kept away concerns over existential dread by exploring personal creativity, living introspective lives enriched by peaceful meditation, or setting out to explore the far-off planes of the multiverse.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Celestial eladrin were wild fey beings of beauty and grace.[2]They were considered among the noble eladrin and were related to other eladrin such as high elves and archfey. Each eladrin type had two forms, a humanoid form and an energy form, which varied with the type of eladrin.
Behaviour
Eladrin were creatures of freedom and goodness. They took joy from their own existence and lived lives of celebration and art. Their wild natures left them somewhat unpredictable, yet they could always be trusted to avoid actual wickedness.
Eladrin were archenemies of all manner of fiends, and would roam the multiverse looking for people to aid with acts of kindness and evil to oppose. Among celestials, eladrin perhaps had the shortest tempers in regards to their response toward injustice and oppression. However, unlike some other celestials, they were generally not interested in the ongoing Blood War. In their view, it was for the best if the baatezu and the tanar'ri killed each other off. They preferred to work behind the scenes against the two groups of fiends, acting patiently and subtly for good.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
All eladrin were immune to harm from electricity. They were resistant to acid, cold, and fire and could not be turned to stone by magical means. Most could see in darkness. Eladrin had a wide range of spell-like abilities, which varied among their kinds, but all could communicate with almost any sentient creature using their innate magic. Typical of fey, some eladrin were sensitive to cold iron.
