Brain Connection I/O Machine

"We will forever remember what you will soon forget." - Arteka Worker

Utility

The device is mainly used to brainwash colonists for the The Confederate Colonization Program. However, other uses include to recording someone's memory for evaluation purpose and to transplant someone else's memory into a different brain. The Confederate Colonization Program wipes the potential colonists brain and uses a generic set of memories loaded onto each colonist.   The machine is known to be very loud, most similar to a dot matrix printer. Once the machine has "warmed up", an intense laser is shown on the head of the creature and the writing process begins on a large magnetic memory disk. To write, a small electric probe alters the surface of the magnetic disk, moving extremely quickly. This causes most of the sound of the machine. To read and transplant, the probe is inverted, and the disk is spun rapidly. The reading process is mostly quiet, but the spinning of the disk creates some noise.
