Bounty Hunter
Bounty hunters, also known Galactic Samaritans or International Recovery Agents are government contractors run by the Colonial Governments to seek out those who skip on their bail and those criminals with rewards offered for their return. Corporations and wealthy private investors also do business with guild, offering rewards only.
Bounty Hunters are trained at the Hunting Academy and after certification are given their Hunter's Badge granting them special travel priveleges.
Hunters are generally categorized as Seekers specializing in tracking and Enforcers (specialized in use of force to apprehend subjects)
To ensure a higher success rate on a Guild Contract, teams of hunters are often assigned for various ranked missions. S-rank missions are only allowed to the most elite hunters called Hunter Team Leaders and are allowed to join any other team at their own discretion.
Most hunting teams have those specialized in tracking, scouting, combat, and tech support.
Tracers: The most vital role. When a criminal skips posting bail for a trial a bounty is put out. Then skip tracing is done to track down the activity and digital trails of criminals to locate them. (Examples: "Skip" the Tracer, real name Sirid and his twin brother, Trac Trace)
Spotters: Once found by the Tracers, the Spotters find their queries in the field. Something Dante is naturally quite good at given his Aura Vision abilities. (Examples: Dante Vespero )
Chasers: The people who actually take them down and submit them by force if necessary are called Chasers. They only use violence as a last resort but certain high-ranking bounties allow for bounties to be taken in DOA (Dead or Alive) where lethal force is authorized. (Examples: @Tis, aka Cryborg)
Leaders: Hunter Team Leaders (HTLs) are the captains of the team that are often made of senior staff with a required rank of A or higher. They coordinate the teams on their missions and often have to handle legal proceedings following their capture. (Examples: Bellatrix)
