Doctrine of Nathrovas

The Nathrovayen school of Vojûnic thought was unique in both its principles and its short lifespan compared to other doctrines. Prior to the Corgastorian war of the late Ascension era, the colonies of Étunas adhered to the Doctrine of Amikiras, which promoted racially pure Vojûn utilized in both domestic and military situations. This suited the colonial princes well enough, and they waged vicious wars in Everos, Othos, Nevan, and the Semyr islands for expansion along with keeping the Voladûr protected. During the glory days of Étunas, the warriors of Atûn were unrivaled and unstoppable. However, not even the greatest empire in history could escape inevitable demise. Around the year -13, a prince among the Everosi named Corgastor Ghedelon rallied the surviving leaders of Aemarda against the Etayen realm. He was later bolstered by the Eshara of Aebaster, who lifted him   Nassarus Nathroghal of Nathrovas. United, these forces waged horrific war against the Etayen, who poured troops in Everos to wage increasing costly battles. As resources were shifted toward Everos, other realms such as Othos and Nevan began to revolt against Étunas, prompting Atûn to sacrifice further energy to support his embattled people. The more he gave, the weaker he became. By the year zero, Atûn was worn and withered down to a husk of his prior power, being harassed by the influence of Aebaster and the betrayal of his own children. Later that year he died. Étunas collapsed shortly afterward, and Nathrovas was suddenly independent and free to choose its own path, even regarding Vojûn.   The Doctrine they formulated, spearheaded by Nassarus Nathroghal, sought to promote the beneficial qualities of Vojûn while subtly rejecting the horrific injuries it caused during the days of Étunas. Agents of the prince travelled throughout Everos and wider Qadal to preach and teach about Vojûn. Their noble efforts were largely drowned out by the chaos of the Weeping Era, where Vojûn ran free and wild, but they were particularly successful in imparting knowledge upon the Daorhu, who accepted these strangers and their ancient power. Indeed, those overtures were the means by which the Daorhu adopted and began to use Vojûn in significant quatities, creating great structures with its aid, defeating their Karthuulite enemies, and imitating the methods of the Etayen by constructing mimic Voladûr across Norvarrot. The Daorhu returned the favor by teaching the Voletal methods of creating gwazkerrags and other behemoths using Vojûn as the energy source. It was a precious moment of peace between eastern and northern Everos caught in the midst of utter devastation at the continent’s heart. Perhaps, therefore, the Doctrine of Nathrovas was the moth important of all in practice. Over a long period of time, numbered in centuries, the message of peace and progress achieved with Vojûn settled itself into the hearts and minds of the Everosi- whether Elivas, Aemar, Daorhu, or Etayen
