Although agriculture was a well-known process come this era, the means and economic structures were not present to allow a robust division of labors. Indeed, only those associated with the highest classes of society were free from the common burdens of food provisioning.
In the realm of weapons, armor, and metalwork, the proficient crafting of iron was the cutting edge of the time. The Odyrzid crafted masterful Vozar to cleave through enemies and Everosi nobles acquired heavy jackets of iron shingles.
Military thinkers did not consider weapons and armor alone. Machines and various methods were devised to assault settlements and large clusters of warriors. This was the birth of artillery. The first such constructions were primitive in execution. An attacking host or defender would seek out trees which were no greater than a few strides apart. Younger, more elastic growths were preferable to archaic, mammothine timbers which refused to bend. Heavy cords were drawn between them, sufficient to create significant drawing power.
