Gen’phelak
Gen’phelak was one among thousands of Etayen dwelling peacefully in Etal, but his intellect refused to accept Etal’s solitary isolation. A strange thought, possibly a day-dream, nestled itself firmly within him. A world must exist beyond the oceans! For what other reason would Atûn conjure mighty borders and etherial guardians to protect them? Not only could unknown continents exist, but also mortals to populate them- similar or immensely different to the Etayen themselves. Without the chance to explore for himself, Gen’phelak wrote into words what might exist in distant reality. He began writing simple tales of winter mists, towering mountains, and strange dells upon loose scraps of bark-paper.
Long after his death, the musings of this visionary author resonate with the Etayen people.
