Hirriat and Eryssis

Born of Zelai and Aebaster, Hirriat and Eryssis represent the dark and bitter lives of those hiding as Nith’eshan. In the immemorial years of the – era, Ácolitus yet held tremendous sway over the affairs of the Eshan and their creations. It was his mandate that the Eshan should not seek intimate relationships between one another in body or progeny. Ostensibly, the harsh ruling was intended to preclude conflicts of love and spurred emotion which Ácolitus, being possessed of significant foresight, believed would be wrought from the tempestuous relationships which then existed between the Eshan. Beyond this altruistic motive of manifested order, however, seethed an unspoken and primitive fear of power lost. The more Eshan born into the universe meant the steady erosion of Ácolitus’ power, which proved ruined beyond repair by history and the First Feud. It was fear foremost, and the Eshan sensed it. Aebaster was most swift in violation, and he enamored himself with an Eshanic sibling known as Zelai. This is known history. Thereafter, Hirriat was born from consent and disobedience to Ácolitus, while Eryssis was born from hatred and violence, then stowed into the shadows as a despised secret. They remained hidden for many centuries thereafter, secured by fellow Ebal’eshan who took plight in the dreadful fate of Zelai.   In the Twilight era, the dreary existence of the forsaken sisters and their mother was revitalized by an outstanding opportunity.   After the death of Aebaster, Corgastor, and the beginning of the Wandering era, the sisters were granted reborn purpose. Zelai, maintaining the guise of Euboa, dispatched Hirriat and Eryssis with Syrgus Pyrgos and 10,000 Tarphry warriors drawn from an isolated Aemar civilization in the fringes of Voryndal.   Betrayed, defeated, and left without a mother for guidance, the sisters returned to Voryndal, finding there the ruins of Old Lopheras Tharrodon which was now abandoned.
