Remnant of Othos - Yumaretes

Yumara’s ill-hewn race, the Yumartes, were released upon the virgin land which was Othos prior to any concept of Othos. They were instinctual and unable to establish themselves as a proper civilization as might be appreciated in modern times. What might equate to towns were collections of primitive nests into which the young and foodstuffs were stored against predatory rivals.
Aebaster brought war to distant Qadal in the third year of the First Feud. The defenseless clusters of malformed Yumartes were no match against the battle-hardened allies of Aebaster, who now sought only the genocide of their enemies. Yumara managed to escape the slaughter but was deprived of her chosen race and rendered powerless thenafter.
