Sekua - Voryndal's Craftwork

In the earliest epochs of civilization in Esha, the sole power of nemeshir was Eshara. Wars and creation were pursued in this same, predictable manner. The Eshans’ means were arrested by explicit attention required to bestow power on individuals rather than whole regions or civilizations. The Eshan Sekrihira was possessed with the brilliant idea of manifesting the boundless power of Eshara in the mortal world, passing it along to mortals in greater quantaties than otherwise allowed.   Sekrihira adopted remarkably primitive methods for his manifestation of Eshanic energy in Esha. His Eshanic race of creation, the Hirattir, were instrumental to his schemes. The power which was invested from the deceased essence of his people was manually injected into the mortal world. Nothing of the kind was attempted in history prior to that time, so the Mandates of Kovûnkal did not forbid the practice. This power was unlike later Vojûn, for it was bound to the currents of the air rather than buried deep beneath the crust of Esha. The raw energy swirled through the air in great clouds which colored the world below in a pale blue, sufficient to shroud the lights above. Eshanic energy was strong within these palls, and each plume was strategically directed toward the destination of Sekrihira’s choosing, whether the bastions of his own people or elsewhere. The requirement was that the Hirattir themselves must acquire the skills and talent to drawn forth that low en masse and weaponize it effectively.   The Hirattir whom Sekrihira reigned over were made aware of Sekura’s existence. Great structures were built for the purpose of funneling and gathering vast quanities of Eshanic energy through the clouds of Sekura which were diverted toward them by Sekrihira. Yet, despite their talents the power of Sekura was ineffective in distribution and much was lost alongside what was gained.   In the Fifth Cycle of Voryndal’s calender, being the -3000s in Qadal’s counting, Sekura endured its most significant challenge. A great rebellion against Ácolitus was initiated by Zewilir and his allies. Among them was Sekrihira, who shared their misgivings about the unjust domination of the Creator over Voryndal. With him, the Hirattir and Sekura were drawn into violent confrontation with their neighbors.   Hirattir warriors fought with incredible bravery and skill against the tributary armies of Koluthollas. Great plumes of Sekura’s energy billowed about them as summoned by Sekrihira, and terrible slaughter followed them. One Hirratir warrior might slaughter five enemies with clouds of choaking ruin which bellowed forth from hideous clouds above- tearing apart flesh and reducing bone to fragments. Despite the bravery of these people, the power of Ácolitus was too great. Sekrihira himself was slain fighting his Eshanic siblings, as allowed per the Mandates, and Zewilir’s rebellious host was shattered.   With Sekrihira’s death against Ácolitus’ warriors, Sekura waned. Its power was no longer funneled into Esha and the regions where it was strongest gradually lost potency. The last Hirattir settlements were reduced to stone shadows and the people dispersed. Within short decades, the remnants of Sekrihira’s race diminished into death and obscurity and was lost forever.
