Sor'des, the Final Prophet

This journey and its proceedings became the definitive events of Sor’des existence, rendering irrelevant whatever came before it.   The ponderance and ineffective ‘council’ which reigned over Tarimikras was a collection of various Eurobian officers, local nobles, foreign merchants, and near every other contrary motivation which might arise. At the behest of Ectival, the chief of this informal council, Tressar Beronthisar, ordered the sudden and vicious demise of the whole council through force of arms. Armed enforcers swept through Fornladur with blades and fire to slaughter the whole gathering. None survived, save for Sor’des and his companions. Perfect. This compelled immediate retaliation. Sor’des and his ilk pursued Beronthisar through the narrow halls of Fornladur, squealing with terror since Ectival immediately abandoned him.   Sor’des was disparaged by the furtive yet forceful mandates of Sinestra, losing faith as the quest became more difficult to pursue. In this moment of weakness, he turned to Ectival, who through the time since Tarimikras sowed subtle suggestions of rebellion. The two spoke, and through clever guile Ectival convinced Sor’des to abandon the worship of Sinestra in favor of himself.   The warband which Sor’des now commanded departed from the region south of Tarimikras destined for the Golbesh.   The final days of Sor’des were caught in a dramatic struggle between Corgastorians, the aspect spirits, and his own traveling companions. With all the artifacts either in his possession or scattered among his companions, the ultimate decision came to the fore- should they be combined? This decision required a superior strength of will manifested as unblinking confidence at the final moment.
