Time of Great Revelations

The Wandering era brought not only suffering to Qadal, but unprecedented knowledge. Wise words and experienced eyes brought images of distant Voryndal to an unsuspecting audience. The masses were regaled by the strange races of mortal beings who lived reflective lives to themselves. Cities existed there, as did literature and war and sovereigns and farms and the respective panalopy of Qadayen life.   This unbidden wisdom was brought forward from fragmented and myriad sources which reflected the gradual erosion of the unseen barriers which separated the world. Tarphry warriors under the banners of Syrgus Pyrgos long lived beneath the shadows of Voryndal’s terrors and remembered everything well. They fought against these strange races, traded with them, learned from them, and grew close to them over centuries. In departing, the Tarphry felt profoundly adrift as strangers in the homeland of their ancient ancestors. Those who remembered Lopheras Tharrodon in its built glory remembered it and held the memories close to their hearts so that no ignorance nor anger could take them away. During the same time, the eastern shores of Othos were subject to an invasion which emblazoned the danger of the lesser world into the minds of Qadayen peoples. The Yaalari, being a coalition of Ebal’eshan seeking to enter Qadal in its moment of weakness, struck upon the eastern coast, but were repelled by the combined host of Corgastorians and Eurobians under Tressonar Syrgus. Last, in Everos, the sudden arrival of the enigmatic Yrd brought a wave of uncertainty and despair upon that continent.   Unlike centuries before when the Axodraharik arrived, no significant Eshanic authorities existed to deny or shroud this news. The reaction among the many Qadayen peoples regarding these revelations was awash with wonder, terror, despair, and hope. What was long rumored and known to exist beyond the Gismyr and Zolrassus became an inescapable reality.
