Following the First Feud, Idorûn was named the keeper of Misladur, through which Eshanic and later Vojûnic power was processed back into Esha. His charge entailed the protection of that place against all assailants with all measures- Eshanic or mortal. Yet, the stipulations of Kovûnkal undermined this sytem. Idorûn was rendered impotent against mortal foes who were protected against Eshanic violence. An intrepid warband could thus approach the place and destroy it with impunity if they so desired. Ácolitus pondered upon this foolish oversight and devised a plan. The genius was that Misladur, and thus Kovûnkal, became matters of public defense whose purpose or outcomes were not questioned.
Over the centuries, these fragmented warhosts mustered for Misladur’s protection developed a measure of professionalism.
