Redgrave

Master

Redgrave is the leader of the mercenary organisation known as the Blood Hunters.
From his home in Sandorne Keep he marshals this small group of monster hunters and collates their reports from across The Azure Sea, filing them into the great library which holds the vast majority of lore regarding monsters and legends of the lands.
He rarely leaves Sandorne Keep, but leads the training of his family. An old man, blind in both eyes, he does not let his disability get in the way of his work.
The wisdom and knowledge of Redgrave is respected throughout the Blood Hunters and by sages and scholars the world over.

Appearance and Mannerisms

It is obvious to all that Redgrave is completely blind, his unblinking rheumy eyes staring into the middle distance. Yet he moves with an agile grace and decisiveness that leads many second-guessing his lack of sight.
Of medium height he is an unmistakable figure. Wearing saffron-coloured robes with a bald head and long, white goatee beard, his pate and arms are tattooed with an intricate geometrical design of blue woad. Blue beads and a gold pendant hang around his neck.
Redgrave walks with the aid of a gnarled staff.

Notable Achievements

In his youth Redgrave adventured far and wide across the lands and seas. It is said that he lost his vision in an epic battle against a Beholder Lord that was terrorising the Dwarves of Koldor's Hold who had mined too close to the Underdark.
