Sword of Dakoleth
The Sword of Dakoleth is a large flamberge greatsword, and the former weapon of the Demon Lord Dakoleth during his mortal life. It retains some of his power of fire and all of his malice, heating the surroundings and burning any would-be wielder without the willpower to control it. It desires to reunite with Dakoleth or another equally destructive master so it can once again wreak large-scale havok.
History
The Sword of Dakoleth began as an ordinary weapon, with no magical properties whatsoever. Dakoleth used it during his disastrous conquests over much of his planet, never even once breaking it. When he was finally overcome, a part of his great power, not willing to give up the world it came from, stayed behind in his sword, the object which he had the closest bond with.
Though it took some time for the sword's power to fully realize, people quickly recognized what was happening. The sword's properties prevented it from being moved or destroyed, however, so to this day it sits in the place where Dakoleth fell, making the area a feared and shunned wasteland.
