The Cavern Crasher

"The Cavern Crasher is a very odd dragon, being without wings and have a a thick layer of mucus oozing from its back. It's strange shape and mucus coat are all for one purpose however, to help it become the perfect killer. Well atleast to one species of dragon, the Fireworm. The Cvern Crasher has little intrest in hunting humans instead being perfectly adapted to negate any and all of the Fireworms natural defences.    My Advice: As long as you aren't a Fireworm you should be able to avoid this creatures attention, if you somehow do make the creature use up it's mucus layer once this is depleated the dragon becomes much more vulnrable.   -C.A"

OverView

The Cavern Crasher flings flammable mucus and scurries across underground catacombs in search of its favorite food: Firecomb. Single-minded and voracious, the Cavern Crasher may lack wings, but its body has adapted to survive beneath the earth. With its reinforced beak and claws, this dragon climbs rock walls and hangs upside-down from stalactites. But the Cavern Crasher's most dangerous feature, by far, is its ability to excrete and eject slick mucus from the bulbous ducts on its back and then set it ablaze.

Appearance

Egg

Cavern Crasher eggs look like rocks, though they taper towards the top. They are red with black stripes and are covered in mucus, possibly by their parents as a form of protection.

Hatchling to Adult

The Cavern Crasher is a black, wingless dragon resembling a cross between a large salamander, a Gila monster, and a shell-less turtle. Cavern Crashers have yellow stripes that swathe across their eyes and similar bands around their limbs. They also have a hooked beak-liked mandible on their upper jaw, prominent tusks on its lower jaw and a thick, rounded tail. It has multiple bumps and craters on their back that secrete slime. Its glistening hide has an overall "slimy" appearance. The Cavern Crasher's tail is flat and rounded.

Abilities

Burrowing

The Cavern Crasher has been shown to be a very fast digger, as they are able to appear out of the ground at high speed, and are strong enough to burrow through rocky walls.

Collapsible Skeleton

With a collapsible skeletal structure, the Cavern Crasher is able to navigate and squeeze through the tightest of wall crevasses and cracks. When the Cavern Crasher squeezes through the tightest of walls, their mucus squeezes out, which may aid in lubrication. This also makes the Cavern Crashers one of the most flexible species of dragons.

Firepower

The Cavern Crasher produces green flames, which it mainly uses to set fire to targets covered in its own flammable mucus. The Cavern Crasher is also able to set its own tongue on fire.

Fireworm Venom Immunity

The Cavern Crasher is immune to all Fireworm venom.

Flammable Mucus

The Cavern Crasher is able to secrete flammable mucus from glands on its back and the top of the tail. It launches this substance from its back and tail, flinging it onto other objects before igniting it with flames. The mucus shares similar properties to Monstrous Nightmare gel, due to its flammability. The mucus is also malodorous, especially to most humans, as seen with Slimeball.

Wall Scaling

The Cavern Crasher can scale cavern walls and ceilings like a gecko very quickly, despite its larger size.
