The Stormcutter

"The Stormcutter is an aboslutely beautiful creature, this dragon is a mixture between an Owl and a Bat. Their awarness of the surrondings is nearly unmatched along with speed and stealth these creatures can be very deadly. Watching these beasts can almost be considered an honour watching them jump from cloud to cloud, it almost makes you forget about their more negative traits such as their fierce loyality which sounds like a good thing until you get to close to their friends and suddenly have a dragon flying at high speeds towards you.   My Advice: They are slowly to start a fight unless they are protecting something, stay clear of them especially around the winter times when they normally lay their eggs and raise their young. They'll either kill you to protect their young or to feed you, most likely both. I know I use this point alot, but a village idiot can really be just the right tool for the job, if you anger these beasts I hope your faster then the village idiot because you are most certinally not faster then it.   -C.A"

Overview

The four-winged Sharp Class flyer can turn its head so far around, it can see behind it. You can never sneak up on a Stormcutter. Flying on four wings, the Stormcutter carves spirals in the sky and shoots fiery arcs of destruction at its adversaries.

Appearance

Eggs

The Stormcutter's egg is a large oval and has a prominent scale pattern. There is a ridge with larger scales that run down its middle.

Hatchling to Adult

Stormcutters are known for their large size, iridescent fish-like scales, and two pairs of wings. They have owlish mannerisms and a second set of wings under their main ones. Stormcutter dragons walk on this second set of wings and their hind legs. The wings can also come close together so they can appear to be one main pair. They have a very muscular and sturdy build. Their face has two long spines that branch off their brow to the side and they have a flattened, owlish face, making them seemingly brachycephalic. They have a three-finned tail, many spines down their back, and a large crown of spikes on their head that makes them look even more menacing.

Abilities

Firepower

Stormcutters can shoot a sustained blast of fire that is tornado-shaped, similar to the Typhoomerang Similar to a Monstrous Nightmare, Stormcutters also have flammable saliva. It was shown in a deleted scene that the saliva of dragons other than the Monstrous Nightmare can be for the Inferno. Though, in that scene, the Stormcutter's saliva produces an intense flame that was difficult to control.

Rotating Head

They have the unique ability to rotate their heads about 180 degrees, like an owl. By doing so, they can see in all directions easily.
