Corsair Royalty

The corsairs have one monarchy with five sub monarchies shared between the king, or queen’s, children.
If they have too few children the fortresses are taken by the king's cousins or sibling who act as caretakers to the throne, they run maintenance only and report to the king.
If an heir is born that heir has the right to vie for a sub monarchy fortress or the main throne.

The honor of the main throne is fought for in hand to hand combat. If the challenger is younger than fifteen then a champion may be called forward to fight. This should be fought for on the sea.
Only the first and second-born are eligible for the king of the main throne.

The main castle is in the center of the corsair islands. Roamer Heartland.

The current King is Watergem Tideroamer.

The second castle is on the most Northern end and the second-largest territory is the Fire Isles. The Fire Isles are run by Councilman Stonemason Tideroamer.

The third castle is on the most eastern point and is the fourth largest land, the Quarrylands. Run by councilwoman Mar Bel Tiderroamer.

The Fourth castle is on the most Southern point and is the smallest territory run by Councilwoman Ironhammer Tideroamer the second. Forever Forrest.

The fifth is on the most western point and is the third-largest point, the Portsmouth, run by councilman Seaspear Tideroamer.

Although the corsairs have four provinces run by councilmen the people are led under two sets of laws, provincial and national. National applies to everyone and must be approved by the king before putting into effect.
