Sedi Water Ways

Waterways are a network created by the Chui in Sedibeng to naturally transfer water from one level of the God tree to the level below.

Utility

It functions by collecting water from the either the rain, fog, but mainly the water spillage from the trees and roots on the God Tree level above in order to pool the water, thus preventing water evaporation.

Manufacturing

General these are controlled by water municipalities, which are independent of the great houses, being run by the Cabucabu and the general citizenry.

Complexity

The network consists of connected pipes mostly made of steel or bamboo, mostly bamboo as the wood is less likely to rust and taint the soil.

Metal

Metalwork is considered to be extremely complex as the parts are built up off smaller interchangeable parts, which are designed to last a decade but, depending on the water flow and the size of the water municipality crews along with the budgets they can be switched out as quickly as a year apart, the original parts being kept. The metal being recycled where it can.
