Syndicate of Spiders

Origin:
The Syndicate of Spiders is a criminal organization based within the elusive Twilight District of Avar. They were founded by a group of thieves and murderers who had been assigned to remove a founder from council and throw the power of Avar into a spiral. These actions had a huge effect over Avar and powerful eyes shifted onto the mysterious party with some wanting to join, to fund, and to eradicate. Soon the newfound group had gained a large following of people who were looking for wealth and connections and set up shop within the caverns underneath Avar that had been previously sealed by the High Council due to the dangers lurking within the underdark.

Description:
The Syndicate is currently run by a man named The Butcher and has taken his own chunk of the Twilight District that is rumored to be full of empty houses and residing within what used to be a church. He acts as the link between the overworld and underworld, controlling his underlings known as The Faceless as a ruthless puppet master. These underlings help run the main buildings within the district and collect contracts from above, keeping their identity anonymous.
