The Great Library of Jorah
Background:
The Great Library has the largest collection of books, scrolls, and other forms of knowledge. It is a valuable asset to Avar and also acts as a school to teach the youth from all districts that wish to learn. The Arcane Brotherhood is in charge of maintaining the library and conducting research to add to its archives; beneath the structure holds forbidden knowledge and is kept in secret to prevent that knowledge from entering the wrong hands.
Description:
The outside of the library is made of large marble pillars, wide white stone staircase, and has many impressive shrub sculptures and fountains dotted in the front of the building. Unfortunately, tents have been set up within the open hedge garden and what once was a beautiful sight, is now an eyesore.
Inside you are greeted by the receptionist known as Kida and by iron golems that protect the library along with those within the Arcane Brotherhood. The shelves reach incredible heights and a staircase leads to even more sections of the library that hold vast amounts of knowledge.
The Forbidden Section:
This part of the library hold all forbidden and dangerous knowledge determined by Master Neveleth. The room is under tight security with all cabinets under magical protection and more golems patrolling the area.
