Governor/Govorness

Governor/Govorness refers to the individual appointed or elected to serve as the chief executive or administrative leader of the village. Depending on the size and structure of the village government, the governor may have varying levels of power and responsibility, including overseeing village finances, managing public services and infrastructure, enforcing laws and regulations, and representing the village in dealings with other governmental entities or organizations. In some cases, the governor may also serve as a spokesperson for the village and work to promote its interests and welfare.
