Tanaris
Tanaris is a desert region located in the southern part of Kalimdor. The region is known for its arid climate and vast, sandy landscape, with few sources of water and vegetation.
Tanaris is home to several notable landmarks, such as the Caverns of Time, a network of tunnels and chambers that allow time travel to various historical periods of Azeroth. It is also home to the ancient city of Uldum, which is shrouded in mystery and guarded by powerful constructs known as titans.
The region is populated by various groups, such as the goblins who have established the bustling port city of Gadgetzan, the sand trolls who inhabit the Zul'Farrak temple complex, and the bandits and pirates who make their living by preying on unwary travelers.
Tanaris has been the site of many important events in Azeroth's history, such as the War of the Shifting Sands, during which the forces of the Bronze Dragonflight and the night elves fought against the insectoid silithid and their Qiraji masters. The region has also been the target of various threats, such as the Elemental Lords who have sought to dominate the elements of the region and use them for their own nefarious purposes.
