The Kingdom of Silan

Structure

The Kingdom of Silan monarch is determined by royal lineage.The King of Silan takes on a court of advisors to help him run the kingdom. The High Council consist of a magic advisor appointed by Eranu, the kings steward, high commanding knights and the Lords of each province in the kingdom. Then the king has The Low Council which consist of town mayors. guild masters, and elected officials of the common folk.

Demography and Population

4 million (approximate)  The majority of the population are humans with significant minorities of wood elves and a small minority of dwarves in the Northern Mountains. The capital city of Sistina houses the biggest population, approximately 30 thousand people. The second largest city in Silan is the port city of Haman holding around 21 thousand people.

Military

Silan boasting 300 thousand active military personnel having the largest army in the Northern Kingdoms. The Kings Army contains Knights, Spearmen, Archers, and Lancers, they also have a Calvary and a small brigade of war casters.

Views on Magic

The Kingdom Silan believe magic to be a strong spearhead in power, to be utilized in both war and peace. They recognize that magic can be dangerous, but proper training and control can be used to serve the Kingdom. Due to this, they have good relations with Eranu.
