A security corporation that provides advanced solutions for protecting any premises from unauthorized intrusions.
Their core offer is the CyberSec Lockdown System (CLS), which is a device that can be installed on any door, window, or access point to lock it down with a steel plate in case of an emergency or a security breach. The CLS can be controlled by a computer or a datapad app, and can also be integrated with other security systems such as alarms, cameras, or biometric scanners. The CLS can resist hacking attempts, physical damage, and electromagnetic interference, and can also send alerts and reports to the owner or the authorities.
CyberSec's systems tend to need matainance on a more than regular schedule, they are often contracted by government due to their cost effective nature.

History

CyberSec was founded in 2077 by a group of hackers, security workers, and activists who were concerned with the growing crime rate in San Francisco.
After approaching several Ventur Capital groups, they were able to get their products and services off the ground in 2078. Their focus was security for every person, and not just the major corporations, garnering them an image many citizens could get behind.
As their stocks and portfolio grew, so did the C-Suite's desire for money. Over the next 100 years, CyberSec focused more on cheap goods at high maintenance margins to drive their bottom line. Just before The Great Breach, CEO Tina Fey was in CyberSec's Mega Tower after returning from an off world trip to their orbital station. While there she secured a large shipment of Helium³ that is used with the Micro-DH power plants. Her intention was to use this for District 03’s own Micro-DH power plant for the foreseeable future.
Tina has always lead District 03 with a family message of security and protection, creating a cult like following. Seeing an opportunity to firm those relations, CyberSec's play after The Great Breach was to build a government out of CyberSec's employees promising more autonomy to citizens who work to better CyberSec's goals.
This loyalty was easily bought as it was rapidly discovered that CyberSec had the only reliable source of Helium³ within The Quad. Funding flowed into the district, increasing the quality of life of its citizens.
