They hunted mammoth and red deer and worshiped their now long dead gods around roaring bonfires hundreds of thousands of years before the coming of Elves or men.
Breton storytellers and Norse skalds weave tales of vast caverns and far away mountains hiding hoards of ancient Dwarven treasure.
