Though nominally vassals of the Duke or King, the lords of Leon have for centuries remained functionally independent from the rest of the Bretons.
The current head of the noble house of Leon is the reclusive Lord Guihomarch. Rarely seen, he leaves much of the business of rulership to subordinates, secluding himself in the fortress of Kastell-Paol.
