Redon Abbey
At the confluence of two rivers, on the border of Neustria, the Abbey of Redon lies in ruin.
The burial place of kings lies looted and desecrated. A large force of Norse pirates are encamped here, the fertile valley a springboard for sudden, violent attacks.
Haesten has ordered that the remaining monks be spared and allowed to dwell in the Abbey and perhaps keep some of their treasures..
History
In 832 a local noble gave the priest Conwoïon and his companions a piece of land on a bleak hill overlooking the confluence of the Oust and the Vilaine, where they founded a monastery, dedicated to the Holy Saviour.
