Trollborn

In Norse folklore, the Trollborn were feared and respected, their blood half human, half troll.
Trollbom are renowned for their strength and cunning. Some become fearsome warriors, while others excel in sorcery. Powerful, and ill-tempered, they are easily identified from the common human stock.
Troll-blood may remain in a family for many years, even skipping generations before a true Trollborn is whelped.
Famed Trollborn from outside of the Norse realms include the biblical Goliath and the Breton warrior, Iudoc Stoneheart.

Lifespan

Trollborn have lifespans comparable to humans. They enter adulthood in their late teens and usually live less than a century.
