Yanick
As a younger man, Yanick served in the household retinues of both Numinoe and Erispoe. He distinguished himself in feats of arms in many battles, most notably at Ballon in 845.
Sickened by the slaughter of war after the Battle of Jengland , he laid down his arms and took up the hammer and tongs in service to Erispoe's bannerman, Alfrond.
His son Hal works the forge alongside his father. His apprenticeship long complete, Yanick knows his son yearns for more, but does his best to discourage dreams of glory on the battlefield.
He is certain that young Tanguistl's pursuit of the lordlings of Castle Kemper is but a childhood phase and, once she grows out of it, would make a suitable match for his son.
When not performing commissioned work for his lord, Yanick will haggle all day like its a sport. He is known to donate almost as heavily to the church as he does to the local taverns.
