When the dragons came

Having scoured much of the Eastern continent for riches and plunder the great drakes: Ragnarim, Lord of the Lessers of the red flight; Valshk the Creeping Black of the black flight; Kilrog the Cunning of the green flight; Qeddrat the Bright of the blue flight; Lasir the Insane of the white flight migrated West.   Within a year the Villani Empire was shattered and to date has still not recovered, a large segment of it remains under the control of Kilrog. The Langobardi Kingdom of the Trolls was completely destroyed by Valshk, their Black Temple melted and warped by his acidic breath - the Wood Elven Kingdom of Sax remains in peril from him as well. Lasir of the White flight was actually defeated at the loss of a tremendous amount of life. He remains locked in an eternal slumber from the magic of the High Elves of the Frozen Shore. Qeddrat the Bright of the Blue Flight flew far in the North of the Villani Empire and into the Fertile crescent.
