The Ruby Drift

A distant sector of the galaxy which lies far beyond the Old On Worlds in a region of relatively low stellar density between the spiral arms and towards the rim, more than ten thousand light years from the trailing edge of the Bubble. The oldest known star faring civilisation in the galaxy, a species known as the Bright Ones, have left fossils on some of the worlds in this sector.
