The Moon

Home to Nor, the Just Mother, the moon is visible to mortals as a silver orb that replaces the sun and illuminates the surface of Dunyawal with its pale glow in the night. When an angel arrives to apprehend an uncommonly mischievous fairy, that angel came from the moon. When a righteous interrogator compels a miscreant to speak only the truth, the moon is what compels compliance. Traveling to the moon is an uncommon occurrence for most mortals, and even Nor's adherents have little reason to go there. Nor's son Camir maintains a massive prison inside the moon, where he incarcerates the worst criminals of the stars, void, sun, and even of Dunyawal. Mortals who manage to escape from the moon back to Dunyawal are hunted for the rest of their lives by Nor and her servants.
