The Void

Home to Nal, the Wise Mother, the void is visible to mortals only as the negative space between the other planes in the night sky. When a warlock summons a fiend into a magic circle on Dunyawal, that fiend came from the void. When an evil priest banishes someone's soul from their body, their soul becomes trapped in the void. Traveling to the void is an impressive feat of dark magic. Few mortals have been to the void and returned. Those who do often come back speechless, unable to put a word to the horrors they witnessed therein.
