Esriah has reached a new low thanks not to a corrupting power, but his own nature. Mostly. He has an intense hatred for the Godslayers and the fact that he absorbed part of Xerata, Goddess of Envy's dark divinity certainly doesn't help. He believes the Godslayers have been born more perfect than his own followers and their weapons are better than what he's ever created. The fact that they have achieved a technological and biological level above even his followers in Avira makes impressed, but all the more jealous.

Personal history
During his youth, Esriah was easily able to identify many of the flaws in the original designs of his siblings. He gave them useful criticism until he was satisfied with their work. Unfortunately, he was too late to recognize the imperfections in Yahweh's mind set. He blames himself for not indentifying that his elder brother would lash out the way he did. During the Second Divine War, Esriah defeat and absorbed the divinty of Xerata, Goddess of Envy. Afterwards, he became obsessed with true perfection and refused to allow anyone to surpass him in the journey there.
