Berdryn Bedalsia Brewheart

Berdryn lived with her husband Baldwin Brewheart (a Druid) in the Trollbard Forest as hermits for 100 years. When they were young they were cast out of the Duergar society due to their ethical views (they were too good). Unfortunately Baldwin died young (for a Dwarf) at the age of 180.
For the past 125 years Berdryn has wandered. Baldwin died when he tampered with magic beyond his abilities, and so Berdryn never pursued any magic herself, aside from her innate Duergar ability. In fact, she is generally suspicious of all things and beings magical. Instead she learned to protect herself by physical means.
Because of her advanced age and extensive experience her knowledge of battle is extensive. Her old age and small stature often mean she is underestimated by her enemies.
Berdryn takes a very motherly tone with those whom she cares for.
